Personality Branding

Spurlock talks about brand personality in his talk. Given the parameters discussed, describe your brand.

According to the dictionary, Personality Branding in general is the concept that combines the external with the internal and intertwines them in a way that sets an identity and image. However in my opinion, there is a very sharp contrast between an identity and a personality. An identity is a comparative tool that you may use in relation to the rest of the population, such as your nationality, you religion etc. However your personality is a description of what defines you and what makes you unique.

In contemporary society, personality branding is also a feature of career preparation. For example, when being interviewed for a job, the employer is looking for a quality brand to add to their team, which may or may not be you. In Morgan Spurlock’s movie, he refers to 2 types of personality categories: the up and the down. I believe I am a combination of both. Generally I have an up personality, enhanced by a fresh humor in the morning. Adventure to me is a mystery. Life cannot be played through to success.  When it comes to ambitions and success, I may be more of a traditional person, who stops at nothing to attain their ambitions. Perhaps that is where the down side kicks in.
